Most companies don't have the luxury of focusing exclusively on innovation. They have to innovate while stamping out zillions of widgets or processing billions of transactions.
There are many definitions of innovation. A recent example being "Innovation is the successful commercialisation of new ideas". We view it simply as the means by which your organisation engages in creative thinking and from there translates ideas into practice to develop new income streams or achieve more with fewer resources. This aspect of our work deals very much with the strategic development of our clients. It looks at what changes need to be made and why if the organisation is to prosper and grow.
The most common area where we help clients innovate is in looking at their core competencies and working with them to identify new potential income streams. An example of this approach can be found here.
