For the things we have to learn before we can do them, we learn by doing them.

Evaluation Why 20 Degrees?
Evaluation of projects and programmes forms the most significant element of our business. We have experience of evaluating projects funded by the National Lottery (Heritage and Community Funds), Welsh Government, European Structural Funds, HEFCW and the client's own resources. Our clients are very diverse, from Community Voluntary Councils, such as GAVO and GVS, to equality organisations, such as Disability Wales and NWREN, through to universities, such as Bangor and the Open universities and a range of not-for-profit organisations such as Keep Wales Tidy, Public Health Wales, Jisc and Guildford Cathedral.
We pride ourselves that our evaluations don't simply tick a box for a funder to have the project independently evaluated...we produce work that is practical and useful. We are not content as evaluators to simply gather data and present the findings. We provide rigorous analysis and critical reflection to identify practical changes to improve outcomes. We are mindful that project teams are likely to want evidence of their efficacy and uniqueness. Where these features exist, we bring them to the fore and provide recommendations on how these features might be used to benefit the organisation going forward.
"They have been highly flexible and have willingly adapted to the changing time lines of the project with good grace. I have been impressed by the quality of their work and professionalism throughout the contract and have found them highly responsive on email and telephone...(They) have suggested a series of simple and achievable actions to help enhance the project and ensure its long term legacy".
Helen Ellis, The People’s Cathedral Project Manager, Guildford Cathedral
